Paradise Scuba runs this part of the wall as two back-to-back dives, Canyons 1 and 2, which together cover a little under two miles of the drop-off. Long-term currents have cut deep canyons into the edge of the shelf, and the largest of them are big enough to make divers misjudge their depth. The canyon tops begin at about 60 ft and the floors fall to 130 ft and deeper. The site shows the scale of the wall system off La Parguera better than most, and one of the shop's divemasters likens it to a far bigger version of the Estrella reef.
