Diamond Shoals Lightship

Also known as: LV-71

All twelve crew members survived the sinking. The wreck is still owned by the US Coast Guard and was surveyed by NOAA and partners in 2015 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. At its depth it is a technical dive. Dive Hatteras lists it among the wrecks it visits from Hatteras Inlet.
