Tapiutan
Tapiutan lies at the outer edge of Bacuit Bay, 45 minutes to an hour by boat, so Palawan Divers visits it only on special trips. Massive boulders, thought to come from cliff collapses over thousands of years, create swim-throughs, arches and small caverns. The rock surfaces are known for unusual nudibranchs, making it popular with macro divers. Turtles, barracuda, pufferfish and crocodile fish are common, and blacktip reef sharks still turn up here occasionally. Because it faces the open sea, swell and wind often make it inaccessible.
