Secca di Terra Murata
Also known as: Terra Murata · Terra Murata Reef
Below the cliff crowned by the old prison and walled village of Terra Murata, big boulders fall from about 13 m to sand at 28 m, forming canyons and passages. The shoal is small enough to see whole in clear water but intricate enough for a multilevel dive of 35 to 40 minutes. Yellow and white gorgonians, Parazoanthus and sponges cover the rock, with moray eels, octopus, scorpionfish and many lobsters on the walls facing the island.
