Camiguin is a small volcanic island province in the Bohol Sea off Northern Mindanao, offering uncrowded, biodiverse diving across volcanic reefs, pinnacles and protected marine sanctuaries.
Camiguin sits about 90 kilometers north of Cagayan de Oro and is known for having an unusually high concentration of volcanic cones for its size, which shaped both its topography and its underwater terrain of walls, pinnacles and slopes. Diving here centers on protected sites such as Mantigue Island Marine Sanctuary, known for turtle sightings, and the Sunken Cemetery, where gravestones submerged during an 1871 eruption now lie among coral growth. Around 21 dive sites are reported across the island.
