El Puertito
The horseshoe-shaped bay has a sandy centre, mooring blocks and low volcanic reef on its edges, and opens to flat sand at its mouth. Turtles were long its main attraction; one dive centre now reports them as rare, while other sources still list them among the possible sightings. Cuttlefish, butterfly rays, garden eels, octopus, moray eels and schools of barracuda are common, and angel sharks are possible. With little current and shallow depths it is used for try dives and training.
