Cueva del Zorro
También conocido como: Fox Cave
From a rocky platform around 12 m the route follows a volcanic wall to the cavern, whose two openings keep daylight and blue water in view. Bigeyes, trumpetfish and striped seabream gather at the entrance, while porcupinefish, moray eels and Canarian lobsters hide under the overhangs. Stingrays sometimes rest inside. One operator explains the name with a thresher (fox) shark once seen living in the cave, another with a Z shape visible when sunlight enters. Current can pick up, so the route and pick-up are planned carefully.
