Anse Noire
Anse Noire takes its name from the dark volcanic sand of its small beach, which sits beside the golden sand of Anse Dufour; a lava tongue separates the two coves. Under water the two are joined by a slope of boulders that shelters octopus and draws many turtles. Paradis Plongée singles out the fault of Anse Noire as the feature experienced divers come for. Plonger en Martinique calls its fauna and flora typical of the south-west Caribbean coast.
