Snapper Ledge

Schools of snapper are often so thick at Snapper Ledge that divers cannot see through them. Nurse sharks and green and spotted moray eels are regular sightings, along with hogfish, trunkfish, octopus, rays and cleaner shrimp. One of the largest and healthiest boulder brain corals of the Upper Keys grows on the ledge. Scuba-Fun counts it among the most popular reefs for newly certified divers.
