Anemone Garden
Anemone Garden lies inside the lagoon of Mahébourg Bay and is reached on short boat trips. Its anemones host the Mauritian clownfish, which is found only in Mauritius and Réunion, and Snorkeling Report calls it probably the best place on the island to see it. The site is valued for small life such as nudibranchs, cleaner shrimps and leaf fish, which makes it a favourite of macro photographers. Dive centres take divers of every level here, and it is also visited by snorkellers.
