The Ashanti Palm lies a short distance south of the Doris, at a bend of the San Vincenzo pier. Broken into three sections, its shallowest point is around 20 m, and the huge central hold makes penetration the highlight of the dive. Fan worms, lobsters, John Dory, groupers and schooling fish live on the hull, and a large anglerfish is occasionally seen. Remains of the cargo can still be found in some holds, and Centro Sub Pozzuoli recommends strong torches.
