Zeelandbrug
Conosciuto anche come: Pijlers Zeelandbrug · Zeelandbrug-N
Volunteers place branch structures, the sepia tents, around the bridge every year, and cuttlefish and squid lay their eggs on them between early May and late June. The first pillar is densely overgrown and lies at about six to nine metres; the second, at sixteen to twenty metres, can be reached around slack water. Each pillar stands on a caisson on three thick posts, so divers can swim between them, and schools of bass and mullet often hang around the tops. Along the shore the dike is lush with growth, and lobsters, squat lobsters, sea scorpions, lumpsuckers and many sea slugs are common. Diving is allowed only at the first two pillars. Outside slack water the site is used for drift dives along the dike towards the bridge.
