Punta Cappellone
Divers start on a plateau of 6 to 10 m and drop along a sheer wall to white sand and Posidonia beyond 35 m. To the west the wall gives way to a sloping bottom with large boulders, two of which lean on the wall and form small tunnels used by brown meagre. Dentex, dusky groupers and parrotfish are common, and lobsters and slipper lobsters hide in the seagrass. A vertical chimney leads back towards the boat, and the dive ends in a half-submerged cave. Experienced divers get the most out of it, while newcomers can follow a shorter route.
