Panettone
Also known as: Scoglio Panettone
The site takes its name from the dome shape of the emerging rock. From a mooring plateau at about 5 m, divers drop to around 18 m, where a cave entrance shelters dusky groupers and a school of white seabream, and orange cup coral lines the walls. A rocky ridge then leads to a second, smaller dome with a smaller cave. A tunnel crosses a shoal at about 12 m, and the sand and seagrass around the rocks hold small stingrays, scorpionfish and brown meagre. Its closeness to Zone A of the marine protected area means plenty of life on the bottom.
