Cap Salomon
Conosciuto anche come: Pointe de Salomon · Cape Solomon
Down to about 15 m the cape is a jumble of enormous blocks, below which a slope becomes steep from 30 m. Large southern stingrays rest on the sand around 35 m, spotted eagle rays pass in the blue and a family of big snappers spawns here. Fire coral, sponges and an elkhorn coral near the mooring stand out, and a small cave at 3 m holds macro life. Morays, turtles, batfish, king mackerel, boxfish and tube sponges are common. The area is sheltered as long as divers stay between the boat and the two rocks that mark the ends of the reef.
