Don Pedro Wreck
Conosciuto anche come: Don Pedro
The Don Pedro left Ibiza for Denia in the early hours of 11 July 2007, tore its hull on the underwater pinnacle of Dado Pequeño and sank quickly; all crew were rescued. After the wreck was cleaned and sealed, the ban on diving was lifted and it became a major attraction. The ship rests on its port side with the bow pointing north-east, and its size allows several different dives, most commonly at the bow anchors and at the stern bridge. Experienced divers can later explore inside among the cargo trucks, or search the sand for small-spotted catsharks. Barracuda, tuna, moray and conger eels and many small fish have colonised the hull.
