Gustavia Wreck
Également connu sous le nom de : Gustavia · Epave du Gustavia
The Gustavia was built as the Géocéanique and took its current name in 1982, carrying goods between Guadeloupe and the northern islands. After Hurricane Hugo damaged it in 1989 it was cleaned and sunk in 1991, and PPK Plongée calls it the first artificial reef of Guadeloupe. The hull stands upright on sand at about 40 m, covered in yellow and grey tube sponges, with a three-bladed propeller at the stern. The wreck can be toured in a spiral from the bottom to its highest point. Two French angelfish and a school of barracuda are named as regular residents.
