Divers enter on the north-east side of the point and drift anticlockwise over the boulders to its western end. The best time is the rising tide, when a counter-current runs south. Sharks, giant trevally and snapper schools join a wide range of reef fish. Visibility is normally good, but the water can be cool and big swells cause strong surge.
