De Zeehond en De Rat

Also known as: Scharendijke duikwrakjes

De Rat is a 14 metre hull lying at most twelve metres deep, resting on the stone bed that was originally prepared for Le Serpent. De Zeehond is a ten metre vessel at most nine metres deep, a short swim east of De Rat. Both are overgrown with sea squirts and visited by small crabs and butterfish. Divers can reach them from the Kabbelaarsrif jetty, ideally by swimming to a buoy and descending along its chain. The fishing area starts directly west of De Rat and is closed to divers.
