Amitori Asaba

Also known as: 網取浅場 (Japanese)

Below the shallow reef, sand spreads at around 12 to 20 m and is densely covered with branching and table corals in red, yellow and blue. Spotted garden eels and other garden eels emerge from the sand all around, and anthias swim over the coral. Broadclub cuttlefish sometimes come close to divers. Amitori is about 45 minutes by boat from Uehara harbour.
