Henderson Point
Also known as: Senanus Drive
From a small parking area at the end of Senanus Drive divers climb down a short drop to the beach and swim out on a heading of about 255 degrees. A sandy bottom leads to a first reef, and a second, larger reef beyond it descends in shelves into deep water. Wolf eels, octopus and a wide range of fish live on the reefs, and sixgill sharks have been reported. A thermocline can make the surface murky while visibility opens up below about 6 m. As it lies inside the inlet, the site is largely sheltered from strong current.
