April Point

Also known as: April Point Wall

The dive starts on a pinnacle offshore from April Point Lodge and follows the wall to the southeast with the current. Fish are plentiful, along with sea pens, anemones, nudibranchs, Puget Sound king crabs and octopus. Dolphins, porpoises and orcas sometimes pass through the area. Because the tidal exchange in this part of Discovery Passage can be drastic, the dive should be done with an experienced local charter that knows when to put divers in. Visibility is usually best in autumn and winter.
