Albert Head Lagoon
The entry is at the end of Delgada Road, across a pebble beach with large logs. A sandy bottom slopes gently away and turns to silt, where Dungeness crabs and empty clam shells are common. Divers can swim out to a small island and circle it, finding thick kelp in spring and a large bull kelp forest on its back side. Anemones, octopus and skates are reported, and harbour seals sometimes come to look. With no current it suits beginners and gear checks; night diving is not allowed and the park gate closes in the evening.
