Argonaut Wharf

Also known as: Argo

The vertical pilings of the wharf are densely covered with growth and attract a lot of life. Octopus, painted anemones, sculpins, nudibranchs, red Irish lords, lingcod, kelp greenling and rockfish are typical sightings. There is parking for a few cars and only a short walk to the water. Currents in Discovery Passage are strong, so the dive must be timed carefully, and first-time visitors are advised to dive with someone local.
