Secca di Capo Vita
Also known as: Secca di Capo della Vita
The shoal measures roughly 300 by 200 m and is made of large rocks resting on one another. Some tunnels start just below the surface, others deeper, and their walls are painted by sponges and sea daisies. Outside the tunnels the shoal is full of dens with congers, morays and octopus. An old eroded anchor and chain lie at about 13 m. Boat traffic in the channel requires attention.
