Los Champiñones

Also known as: Champinones

Divers swim between enormous rounded rocks with overhangs, narrow canyons and small caves. A short tunnel through one formation is often filled with bigeyes. Moray eels, trumpetfish, combers and groupers live on the reef, while roncadores and barracuda school above it. Deeper parts hold black coral, and loggerhead turtles, tuna and bonito are occasionally seen in the blue.
