Japanese Patrol Boat

Nobody has identified the ship's name or exact type; at about 120 ft long and around 150 tons she was probably a tug or a submarine detection vessel. Scubaholics reports blast damage on the starboard side near the bow and believes US dive bombers sank her shortly before Subic was liberated. She stands upright in the bay that also holds the LCU wreck, and both hard and soft corals have grown over her. Schools of juvenile fish, jacks and lionfish gather around the hull, and visibility is usually good. Earthquakes have caused structural collapse, so Scubaholics no longer considers penetration possible.
