Canyons
Also known as: Canyons Reef
Dives usually begin over sand at about 5 m; from there divers head to the reef edge and go down either along the wall or through the large cracks in the reef that gave the site its name. Clownfish, groupers, lionfish, pufferfish, parrotfish, batfish and frogfish are common, with octopus and cuttlefish seen now and then. Towards the southern end the reef gets deeper and the current a bit stronger, which suits a drift. Visibility of up to about 15 m is better than at most wreck sites, and Camayan rates it as likely the finest reef dive of the bay.
