Barges
Also known as: Barges - Grande Island
US forces assembled a floating pier from barges to serve Grande Island, and over the years the pieces sank and were spread across the bottom by storms. The site forms a rough T, with one arm around 18 m and the other dropping past 30 m, so divers of every level find a suitable depth. The many gaps and corners between the barges shelter garden eels, pipefish, lionfish, nudibranchs and bluespotted stingrays. Visibility is often among the best in the bay, which makes it popular for photography, night dives and courses.
