Turtle Rock

Also known as: Piedra de La Tortuga

A reef platform ends in a marked drop-off to the west, and right at its edge sits a big eroded rock shaped like a turtle shell. A deep crevice separates the rock from the wall, so divers can circle it from its top at about 18 m down to about 25 m. Several grey reef sharks often arrive while divers are on the rock. The wall around it is rich in fish and invertebrates. It is a short boat ride, and Wannadive rates it a great site with excellent visibility.
