Colombia
A remote Colombian Caribbean archipelago built around San Andres, Providencia and Santa Catalina, sitting within the UNESCO Seaflower Biosphere Reserve and known for extensive reef diving.
The archipelago lies about 775 km northwest of mainland Colombia and forms the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve, part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves since 2000, home to the Seaflower Marine Protected Area declared in 2005, the first and largest MPA in Colombia. Providencia's fringing reef is cited as roughly 32 km long. San Andres offers around 30 mostly shallow dive sites, while Providencia has around 10 sites, both with warm year-round water and high visibility.
