Bajo de San Felipe
This shallow reef has a rocky bottom ringed by sand. Star and brain corals form large colonies, most densely on the top at about 6 m, where the reef has a lot of relief. Small caves hide moray eels, and pufferfish, angelfish, trumpetfish, boxfish, lobsters, sea cucumbers and nudibranchs are seen. Felipe Diving Center notes extensive coral patches and says snorkelling is possible. Travel & Diving names it among the beginner sites of Providencia.
