Ojo de Agua

The dive starts from the beach, and its main feature is an opening where fresh water from the cenotes flows out, so a halocline can be seen. The site is shallow and PADI calls it ideal for divers of all levels. Barracudas, parrotfish, sergeant majors, triggerfish, groupers and several kinds of angelfish gather around the spring. At night the life changes, with octopuses, squid, lobsters, sea urchins and basket stars.
