Bonanza

Bonanza is a very shallow reef of the Puerto Morelos national park, about 4 to 8 m deep, with finger-shaped coral formations. It is described as the calmest dive of Puerto Morelos.

The reef consists of varied coral formations, including coral fingers. At 4 to 8 m it is one of the shallowest sites listed for the park, and Aquacore Adventures calls it the calmest. Hawksbill turtles are seen here, and eagle rays visit in winter. Schools of fish are a common sight over the corals.
