Dive center Orso Diving
Orso Diving Club is in Poltu Quatu, Sardegna, Italy. It teaches in Italian, English, German and French. The centre runs diving in Sardinia and Corsica in the marine parks of La Maddalena, Tavolara and Lavezzi, with full-day boat trips and private outings available. Punta Battistoni, a sheltered bay a few minutes by boat from Poltu Quatu, is used for training in shallow water down to 18 metres. The programme covers recreational diving, technical diving and freediving, and the centre works as an SSI Training Center. It also serves yacht divers directly from boats, villas and hotels, and nitrox 32 is available on the morning two-dive excursion for divers with the relevant specialism. Wreck diving is a clear focus, including the Cassini, a French minelayer sunk in 1917 at around 73 metres, with strong currents and visible cannons, anchor and winch.
