Landing Bay Pinnacle
The top of the pinnacle sits at about 5 to 6 m, ideal for safety and decompression stops after a deep descent down its steep sides. Kelp and colourful growth cover the summit, where shoaling fish hang in the current or swell. Large schools gather in the blue close to the rock, and firebrick stars, eels and big scorpionfish live on the walls. An underwater ridge known as the Giant Staircase links it to the island, and the two are often dived together. Technical divers continue down to the sand at about 50 m and beyond.
