Cream Gardens
Also known as: Cream Garden
The dive starts in a bay and follows the kelp towards a great wall on the right that is covered in sponges, sea fans and unusual invertebrates. The wall runs out to the point and plunges very deep, and the cold upwelling at its southern end attracts resting pink maomao and butterfly perch. Bronze whaler sharks and large kingfish are seen near the point. Deep technical divers find huge boulders with Oculina coral below 60 m. Heavy swell often makes the site undivable.
