Ann's Reef
Also known as: Ann's Rock · Anne's Reef
A channel of around 20 m separates the rock from the island, while its outer side drops to about 60 m. The top and outer side are covered in kelp, and the more shaded inner side carries richer encrusting life. Large schools of fish hang around the pinnacle and small critters live on the wall. Seafriends notes that the surrounding Maomao Bay is deep with sheer walls and that anchoring is difficult outside very calm conditions.
