Beto's Reef

Beto's Reef is a long, low ledge covered with life that starts at about 90 ft and slopes away to the north-west to about 120 ft. A burrow at around 105 ft is often occupied by a wolf eel or a giant Pacific octopus. Divers reach it from Whalers Cove by way of Hole in the Wall and the Lone Metridium, and a suggested loop continues west to the Three Sisters and back through the Rock Garden. Its depth puts it among the Point Lobos sites the foundation's map lists as advanced or boat dives.
