Medallot

Also known as: El Medellot

Medallot sits north of Meda Gran and is the least frequented part of the archipelago, so its fish are noticeably shyer than at the busy sites. The dive is relatively deep, and the main attraction is the wall facing north, split by a large crack and covered with gorgonians. Groupers, large scorpionfish, octopus and white sea bream are typical. A cave holds red coral, yellow cup corals and lobsters. Watching the open water now and then reveals passing fish.
