Dofí Nord
Dofí Nord starts on the north side of Meda Petita, where a cave entrance at about 5 m leads through the island to the dolphin statue on the south face. The system includes the dolphin tunnel, a long tunnel, the 'cathedral' and an air chamber, with plays of light in the limestone. Alternatively divers descend to around 18 m and follow the wall towards L'Herminia, a shallow, irregular rocky area suitable for all levels. Slipper lobsters, conger eels, forkbeards and brown meagre live in the cavities, while the outer walls carry one of the richest red coral colonies of the Medes. Groupers, scorpionfish, eels and nudibranchs are common along the way.
