Acuario

Also known as: Aquarium

Acuario is a shallow site where a submerged coral ridge lies at around 6 m and patches of reef are surrounded by sand. Its appeal is the sheer number of reef fish: sergeant majors, chromis, tangs, snappers, goatfish and trumpetfish. Among the sea fans and sponges divers find flamingo tongues on the gorgonians, arrow crabs, lobsters and large crabs. A big Nassau grouper was seen nearby. The cuba diving guide suggests it for the second dive of the day.
