Maria la Gorda is a diving area on the Bahia de Corrientes at the tip of the Guanahacabibes Peninsula in far western Cuba, set within a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

Maria la Gorda lies on the Guanahacabibes Peninsula in Pinar del Rio province, Cuba's westernmost region. The dive area is the Bahia de Corrientes, where the narrow marine shelf drops off close to shore into depths reported between 200 m and 1,000 m. The surrounding Guanahacabibes National Park was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1987.
