El Jardín de la Gorgonia

Also known as: Jardin de las Gorgonias · Gorgonian Garden

As the name says, this site is packed with gorgonians, together with many sponges and other corals. A small wall runs from about 6 m to 15 m, and the fan site calls it a good place for fish feeding. Yellowtail snappers, green morays, balloonfish, boxfish and large Nassau groupers are regulars. It is one of the most popular sites at María la Gorda because it is easy to reach and to dive. The cuba diving guide suggests it for the second dive of the day.
