HMD Trusty Star

Also known as: Trusty Star · HMS Trusty Star

The 26 m steel vessel was built in 1919 and lies on her starboard side at a 45-degree angle on sand, largely intact and covered in silt. The wreck was found in 2016 roughly 3 km off Fort St Elmo. It was opened to divers on 1 May 2019 and is managed by Heritage Malta, so a permit is needed. Only trimix divers can visit it.
