Überlingen Wrack Sonja
Also known as: Wrack Sonja · Sonja
The entry is at the boat landing in front of the Zeughaus with its cannon from Napoleonic times, and diving is only allowed while the passenger boats pause for winter. Divers head straight out to about 45 m, passing a collection of promenade junk such as bicycles, café furniture and tyres. At that depth a turn to the east reveals the Sonja, a barge that carried material during the construction of the lakeside promenade and sank in a storm. The hull is largely silted up, so mostly the keel shows. Because the site is dived in winter, the water is usually very clear.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
