Teufelstisch
Also known as: Teufelstisch (Seezeichen 22) · Bodensee - Teufelstisch (Seezeichen 22)
The Teufelstisch rises from the steep shore between Wallhausen and the Marienschlucht, about 50 m from the bank, and its flat top of roughly 22 by 10 m sits just beneath the surface. Towards the open lake the rock falls almost vertically to about 90 m, while a saddle at about 32 to 35 m joins it to the wall behind. Divers can circle the whole pinnacle above the saddle, passing sheer faces, ledges, cracks and mussel-covered rock. A string of fatal accidents in the 1970s and early 1990s led to a general diving ban, so today the site is only dived with a permit and usually by boat from Wallhausen. Nearby towards Bodman lie the small Wulf-Werner caves at about 12 to 15 m.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
