Boulders

The dive starts on a slope of dark volcanic sand where forests of soft coral grow directly on the bottom. On the way to the rocks, fire urchins are worth checking with a torch, as this is regarded as the best place in Loh Dasami to find the Coleman shrimp. The boulders themselves are draped in sea fans and soft corals and shelter reef fish, nudibranchs and other invertebrates. Manta and mobula rays are seen around the site from time to time. It also works well as a night dive.
