Batu Baso
The strait carries water from the north towards the Indian Ocean, and the rock stands right in its path. Both sides can be dived around the turn of the tide. Large marble rays, big schools of rainbow runners and Spanish mackerel have been seen, along with numerous whitetip and grey reef sharks. Deeper down, schools of bannerfish and damselfish gather.
