Crocodile Head
Crocodile Head lies north of the Jervis Bay entrance. Boats anchor on the southern side of the head and divers follow the wall north to the entrances of an L-shaped arch that rises from below the surface to above it, plus a cave that reaches a fair way back into the rock. Small caves lie west of the shallow entrance, and the bottom is a jumble of boulders with many crevices. Visibility and fish life are usually good, with luderick, black reef leatherjackets and up to seven eastern blue devilfish on one dive. Swimming through the arch depends on very calm conditions.
